*Runs with open arms* WELCOME BACK!!!! Oh, how I’ve missed you so! Aside from some occasional assignments (what with me being a “super senior” and all), I genuinely took a little over 2 months away from all writing and ministry work.
So much has happened, friends. I am invigorated in/by the Spirit because of it all.
So, let’s return to format, shall we? *Clears throat* It’s DEEEEEEEEVOTIONALLLLLLL MONNNNNDAAAAAAAAY!!!!! Today’s passage is Romans 12:1-2 (transformation and living sacrifice) and the New International Version (NIV) reads:
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Although an old blog entry, I offer Romans 4:17 Daily Devotions blog as an expounding point. You remember how much I enjoy searching the Internet for great things to cultivate our lives, right? If finding spiritual and religious things on the ‘net to bring to your attention for entertainment and discussion was an online role-playing game (RPG) like World of Warcraft, I’d at least be a level 40 warrior or something…I dunno…
