For the sake of giving you a number, I learned how to pray at the age of 3. Now, well over 20 years later, I’ve forgotten how to do it. I remember my husband asking me last month something along the lines of if I had chosen not to pray versus not “remembering” how to do it; and my answer was that I didn’t know how to anymore.
It goes much deeper than that, folks, you know this, right?
How can someone who’s consistently had the spiritual gift of prayer, despite the fact that they (have the capacity to) change throughout our lives, forget how to pray? It is a lot easier than you might think.
