I usually don’t blog on Sundays, but I wanted to share this with you.
The search for a church is still pressing and important to me, but I find myself continuously gravitating to one that I’ve told myself isn’t a good fit. The irony isn’t lost on me: I’m going to the church today in about 20 minutes and again at 6:30pm—that’s two services in one day!
Why? Because there’s a dynamic ministry coming at 6:30pm and I don’t want to miss it. I’ll share more tomorrow, but here’s my point:
Currently, my world isn’t making much sense to me. The only thing that is making this waiting period more tolerable than any other time is the fact that I’ve committed to trusting God’s plan. I’ve cut my interference down and accept that His hand is leading me.
Obviously, there’s something for me to accomplish at this particular church.
Are you standing in the way of the Lord’s work in your life?
Today is the start of a new week—remember to start it off with God, too. Trust that your victory is already declared in Jesus’ name. Resist the urge to be “in control” this week, get out of the way and let God use you! Have a blessed Sunday, everyone.
