I’m a resident of California, a state with many reputations, so this blog entry on CNN’s Belief Blog today doesn’t shock me too much. Perhaps it should? Maybe I’m just over-reacting and I’m not sure why.
For the sake of education, we are open to learn whatever we want–it’s our educational freedom, if you will. Therefore, if there’s an option to have religious studies as a college focus, there’s no reason why secularism can’t be a focus, too.
It’s just… strange to me, I guess. *Shrugs* Eh. What do YOU think?
